Opioids and Controlled Substances
For prescribers, within the first two (2) years of being granted a license in the state, a prescriber must obtain a minimum of three (3) hours of prescribing education approved by the ASMB. The education must include:
1: Options for online and in-person programs; and
2. Information on prescribing rules and laws that apply to individuals who are licensed in the state.
