Instructor: Jennifer W. Burks, M.S.N., R.N.
Jennifer has more than 30 years of clinical and teaching experience, with areas of clinical expertise in critical care, emergency care, and home health. She received specialized training in OASIS and telehealth, which has strengthened her knowledge of home health assessment and virtual care delivery.

Mr. Thompson is currently serving as Director of Facilities with Sodexo Management Services and has a BS in Civil Engineering, an MS in Management, and a Master's in Healthcare Administration. He is a licensed nursing home administrator and has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 30 years. He has been published in various professional publications and taught courses in Facilities Management at Duke University. Before his healthcare experience, he retired as a commissioned officer from the U.S. Navy.
