PT Evaluations via Telehealth: Best Practices

This course uses a case study approach to guide physical therapists through performing an evaluation via telehealth and using the results to develop a plan of care. Ways to adapt standardized outcome measures, providing education to patients and caregivers, and engaging the patient to promote adherence and long-term success are discussed. Using the results from the evaluation to inform the plan of care including most appropriate venue for the patient (home, clinic, hybrid) and setting up RTM for appropriate patients are modeled.
