Podcast: Cannabis? Marijuana? CBD? Medical? Recreational? - An Intro for PTs, OTs, and SLPs
Over the last 5 years, the number of states that have legalized cannabis for medical, adult, and recreational use has rapidly expanded. CBD is advertised commercially to heal just about anything and our adult and older adult patients are reaching for cannabis to alleviate symptoms ranging from pain to sleep disorders to anxiety. Do you routinely ask about cannabis use during patient intake? Do you feel comfortable discussing cannabis options?
