Susan Almon-Matangos, MS, CCC-SLP, is a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist with over 30 years of experience. She obtained her bachelor's degree in psychology from Jacksonville State University and her Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology from The University of Alabama. She worked with clients of all ages and a variety of diagnostic conditions in school, hospital, skilled nursing facility, outpatient clinic, and home health settings. In her previous role as a national clinical director for Aegis Therapies, she created training programs for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology related to the clinical rehabilitation needs of older adults in post-acute care. She currently draws upon her expertise in her role at Relias as Lead Subject Matter Expert Writer for Speech-Language Pathology. Kayleigh Alexander-Blake, MCD, CCC-SLP, LSVT, CDP, is a certified speech-language pathologist in South Carolina. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and international studies with a minor in education from Wittenberg University and obtained her Master of Communication Disorders from University of South Carolina. She completed her CFY in mixed population private practice and then honed her focus in geriatrics. She currently works for an adult outpatient company, where she serves as a staff SLP for multiple senior living communities and completes outpatient house calls to community patients. Kayleigh received LSVT LOUD® certification, became a Certified Dementia Practitioner, and completed SPEAK OUT! ® and LOUD Crowd® training via a grant from Parkinson Voice Project. She is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the South Carolina Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
