It is estimated more than 40% of all adults in the U.S. are experiencing obesity, and 10% of adults in the U.S. can be described as experiencing severe obesity (BMI > 40). Obesity has an impact on all aspects of a patient's clinical presentation and plan of care. This foundational course will review the physiology of obesity.
