Some of the changes that occur with aging can affect the urinary system and cause urinary incontinence, or UI. There are also risk factors and conditions that can affect urinary function. In this course you will learn about the types of UI, the impact UI can have on your patients, things that increase the risk for UI, and measures to help manage UI. The goal of this educational program is to provide non-licensed direct care workers in home health with information that can help their patients manage urinary incontinence.
