Knowing how to identify and diagnose hypertension in pregnancy is an essential skill for healthcare professionals. The course will explain the differences between various forms of hypertension, preeclampsia, and HELLP syndrome. Additionally, it will explain diagnostic criteria for each diagnosis, and discuss the risk factors and possible complications for the woman and the fetus. Treatments, assessments, and monitoring parameters will also be discussed, as well as patient education and the need for collaboration, teamwork, and communication between healthcare professionals.
