This course provides an overview of the integumentary system procedures classified in the Skin, Subcutaneous, and Accessory Structures (10030-11646) and General (10021-10012) subsections of the Integumentary System Surgery section of the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®). This course also introduces the learner to the format, guidelines, and common modifiers pertinent for reporting surgical procedures on the skin, subcutaneous, and accessory structures. The course will focus on identifying the appropriate code for these procedures using case studies and scenarios. A current copy of the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®), Professional Edition is strongly recommended to optimize your understanding of the content covered.
