This course provides an overview of integumentary system destruction procedures including Mohs micrographic surgery. The course introduces the learner to the format of the destruction procedures classified in the Integumentary System subsection of the Surgery section in the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) code set. This course also covers the guidelines and common modifiers pertinent for reporting these integumentary system surgical procedures. The course will focus on identifying the appropriate code for these procedures using case studies and scenarios. A current copy of the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®), Professional Edition is strongly recommended to optimize your understanding of the content covered.
