Matthew R. Wertman holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. He achieved a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from West Virginia University. Matt has gained experience as a Physical Therapist in a variety of different settings including outpatient orthopedics, inpatient rehabilitation, and home health. He has a strong background in manual therapy and has additional training and experience in functional and trigger-point based dry needling, as well as Mulligan and McKenzie techniques, focusing on mobilization and effective assessment and treatment strategies. He is passionate about promoting independence through education and functional-based rehabilitation.
