Although it is based on the general principles of pain assessment and management, pain management for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents is unique. This course provides nurses in hospice and palliative care with knowledge of pain management in pediatric palliative care.

Amy Haskamp is a Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist for the Pediatric Palliative Care Team (PACT) at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health Hospital. She has over 16 years of experience caring for children with cancer before joining PACT in 2014. She lectures and teaches at the local, national, and international level, and has been a member of the ELNEC pediatric faculty since 2011. Ms. Haskamp is an active reviewer for pediatric palliative care education and has co-authored several publications on pediatric palliative care.
