Patients with psychiatric complaints often utilize the emergency department (ED). When these patients present in a crisis, they often pose a safety risk to themselves or those around them. This course will focus primarily on how you can provide effective assessment and treatment to individuals with these types of behavioral health emergencies while keeping yourself and your patient safe.
