COVID-19 and Post-COVID Conditions: Post-Acute Respiratory Therapy
This course provides respiratory therapists with an understanding of evaluation and treatment approaches for adult patients with COVID-19 or a history of COVID-19. Interventions discussed include bronchial hygiene modalities, breathing exercises and respiratory muscle strengthening, proning, and incentive spirometry. An interdisciplinary approach to care is also covered. Considerations for patients with post-COVID conditions (long COVID) and the potential impact on your interventions and patients' disease self-management are discussed.

She has received many honors and awards as an educator, mentor, faculty member, and scholar.
