Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis
Even when treated with medication, many individuals with psychosis experience residual symptoms. Cognitive behavioral therapy for psychosis (CBTp) can be an effective tool for helping people with psychotic symptoms. This can be used either as a standalone treatment or with other interventions. The goal of this course is to provide addictions, behavioral health counseling, case and care management, marriage and family therapy, nursing, psychology, and social work professionals working in health and human services settings with education around using cognitive behavioral therapy for psychosis.

Jennifer received her Bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and Master’s degree in Social Work with a Certificate in Substance Abuse Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has over 13 years of experience providing psychotherapy, counseling, and case management to a variety of populations.
