Laura Bell, BSN, RN, CCRN is a SME writer for Relias with over 15 years of acute care experience in nursing. She began working in adult critical care at Wake Med Cary Hospital in 2011, obtained her CCRN certification in 2016, and served in the role of Rapid Response/Code Blue/Rounding RN for over 2 years. She continues to work as a staff nurse in the intensive care unit. Laura has a passion for education and excellence in nursing care. Susan Paschke is a nurse leader with more than 30 years of experience in ambulatory care in a variety of roles at Cleveland Clinic and The Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio. She holds a BA in Psychology from Cleveland State University and a BSN and MSN from Kent State University.  She is a part time instructor at Kent State in the Nursing Administration and Healthcare Leadership program and recently returned to the Cleveland Clinic retired nurse pool providing COVID-19 vaccines.

Susan is a past president and board member of the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing and has taught the ambulatory certification review course for more than 20 years for AAACN and for 5 years with Relias. She is certified in Ambulatory Care and as a Nurse Executive, Advanced through ANCC
