Bullying: Strategies for Prevention and Intervention

Bullying: Strategies for Prevention and Intervention

Bullying is a troubling issue that can result in very serious and enduring complications for both the youth and adults directly involved as well as the community at large. Bullying can take on many forms, including physical, relational, cyber, and sexual. To effectively combat this type of victimization, those working with youth need to be able to distinguish bullying from other types of conflict to develop an appropriate response. This course will explore the varied roles of those involved in bullying situations and explore how targeted interventions and universal strategies can be effective tools in bullying prevention and intervention.
