Assisting with Bathing

Assisting with Bathing

Bathing is a very personal and private activity of daily living, or ADL. Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) need to understand how they can make this experience more comfortable and relaxing for the people they support. Caregivers should follow the proper steps during bathing, ensure safety, and maximize independence when possible.
