Jim has a BS in Civil Engineering, an MS in Management, and a master's degree in Healthcare Administration. He is a licensed nursing home administrator and has worked in the healthcare industry for more than 30 years. He has been published in various professional publications and teaches a course in Facilities Management at Duke University. He is a licensed nursing home administrator and a degreed engineer. Jim graduated from the University of Illinois with a Civil Engineering degree which enabled him to serve in various Facilities Manager positions during his professional career. His expertise includes knowledge and experience in the areas of maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, grounds, security, transportation, and construction management. Before working in healthcare, he was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy.
