Dr. Heather Wilson is the founder and former co-owner of Weatherbee Resources, Inc., and the former CEO and co-owner of the Hospice Education Network, Inc. She is the author or co-author of numerous hospice regulatory manuals including The HIPAA Privacy Rule: Compliance Resources for Hospices and The HIPAA Security Rule, Compliance Resources for Hospice, CoPs in a Book, and The QAPI Requirements: Resources for Hospice Programs. Dr. Wilson has expertise in assisting hospice programs with compliance with the Medicare Conditions of Participation, developing corporate compliance programs and meeting the HIPAA regulations.
