Components of a Musculoskeletal Assessment

Components of a Musculoskeletal Assessment

Patients with musculoskeletal impairments are at risk for decreased mobility, resulting in hospital-acquired venous thromboembolism, decreased quality of life, increased dependence on others, falls, and other conditions. In this course, you will learn about the components of a musculoskeletal examination.

If you are an LPN taking this course, it is important to remember that you are NOT allowed to assess but rather can collect data. In this course, the use of any form of the term assess also refers to the collection of data.
