Occupational therapy practitioners have a skillset to assess and remediate multiple problems in this essential IADL. This course will improve the practitioner's ability to effectively and quickly address issues that lead to noncompliance and improve independence in medication management skills.

Instructor: Nancy Dubuar, OTR/L
Nancy Dubuar is an occupational therapist who is a practicing clinician for a large home health company for three years. Prior to that, she worked in rehabilitation setting in skilled nursing, personal care and independent living facilities for eight years. Nancy has given peer reviewed presentations at conferences by the American Occupational Therapy Association and Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy Association with a special focus on the needs of older adults with and without memory diseases. A lifelong learner, Nancy continues to grow her skills seeking evidence based practice information to support occupational performance of her clients.
