Ms. Hurd has been in the mental health field since 2003. She has worked with children and adolescents where her main areas of expertise have been psychiatric evaluation and treatment (individual, family, and group). She also worked in the Emergency room doing ER social work and crisis care and safety planning She participated as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team with experiences including but not limited to clinical assessment, group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, pharmacological interventions including medication monitoring, case management, and discharge planning at various practice settings to include outpatient, inpatient, as well as school based mental health. Ms. Hurd has specialized training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
