Ostomy Care 

The presence of a colostomy, ileostomy, or urostomy can cause many complications for the individual, such as skin breakdown. To prevent these complications, it is imperative that caregivers know how to properly care for all types of ostomies. In this course you will learn about types of ostomies and basic ostomy care. Depending on your scope of practice, you may not be allowed to perform all of the tasks outlined in this course. Always follow your organization’s policies and procedures.
