The Home Health CAHPS Survey

The Home Health CAHPS Survey

The Home Health Care CAHPS Survey is a tool used by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to evaluate the quality of care of home health services. If your agency is required to participate in this survey, knowing your role and responsibilities and those of the participants will help ensure that the data collected accurately reflects the quality of care your agency provides. This course presents the guidance and standard protocols developed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for home health agencies involved in the Home Health Care CAHPS® (HHCAHPS) Survey. It describes the specific roles and responsibilities of home health agencies in detail, and offers practical tips for improving survey results.
