Activities of Daily Living Part II

Activities of Daily Living Part II

Assisting the resident with their ADLs as opposed to simply doing the task for the resident is a key part of the responsibilities of the staff. This approach enhances and is essential to the quality of life of any resident, and ensures each resident is functioning at the highest possible functional level. In this course, precautions and safety issues related to activities of daily living training, the proper use of adaptive equipment, and verbal cueing techniques are all discussed.
