2017 CMAC Recertification Review Course


Every person holding a CMAC credential is required to recertify on an annual basis by completing the CMAC Recertification exam. The purpose of this course is to prepare individuals for this exam. The course will focus on changes that occurred in the prior year related to the MDS process, coding, RUGs and PPS as well as Quality Measures. The 2017 recertification exam will include questions related to these updates and revisions.

Ron is a professional educator and consultant. He is a registered nurse with over 30 years’ experience in the healthcare field in which 17 of those years have been in the long term care industry. Ron assists long term care by providing educational services related to long term care Medicare regulations, billing and compliance. Ron has conducted extensive training on various topics of interest in the US and Canada. He has been involved in the successful CE approvals of learning activities for many years. Ron currently holds an Associate Degree in Nursing and a Baccalaureate in Health Care Administration. Ron is current the Senior SNF Regulatory Analyst at Relias.
