Instructor: Brett Bowers, LPCS, LCAS, NCC, MAC
Brett received his MA in College Counseling as well as a Post-Master's Certificate in Addictions Studies from Appalachian State University. Brett has a University Counseling Center and Graduate Professional School clinical background. He is a generalist clinician with an emphasis on substance abuse practice (assessment, individual & group counseling, fitness issues with practice boards). In addition to clinical responsibilities, Brett serves in various administrative roles in higher education, such as coordinator of substance abuse clinical services, coordinator of on-call services, and director of counseling services.
