Through this discussion, we will be examining the effectiveness of the RBT training model for new staff who are coming into an educational setting to serve students with severe behaviors and significant disabilities. This will be followed by a discussion of how to implement RBT training for existing staff within a program to enhance the skills that they already possess and set clear expectations for all. The discussion will conclude with an evaluation of the role of the BCBA supervisor to ensure that he/she is meeting all of the expectations outlined by the BACB.
