This course covers the full spectrum of basic vestibular rehab including anatomy and physiology of the vestibular system, common pathophysiology, evaluation, and treatment. The most common vestibular disorders, including benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, unilateral and bilateral vestibular deficits, and central vestibular disorders are discussed.

Instructor: Geoff Mosley, PT, NCS
Geoff Mosley graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1997 with a Bachelors of Health Science in Physical Therapy. He received board certification in neurological physical therapy in 2001 from the American Physical Therapy Board of Specialties (and recently recertified in 2011). He then attended and earned certification in vestibular rehabilitation at Emory University’s annual course directed by Susan Herdman in 2003. He has also in the past received certification from RESNA as an Assistive Technology Provider (ATP). He is the coordinator of physical therapy services at Missouri Rehabilitation Center in Mount Vernon, MO, where he has worked since graduation in inpatient neurological rehabilitation. In 2010 he was elected by the ABPTS to serve as a question writer for the NCS exam. Mr. Mosley has conducted research in rehabilitation including body weight supported gait training. He is an adjunct faculty member at University of Missouri, Missouri State University, and Southwest Baptist University. In addition to authoring this course Mr. Mosley has lectured on BWSGT locally and nationally.
