Home Health: Coverage, Eligibility, and Physician Orders

Home health begins when a physician recognizes the need for medical care in the home setting. There are many rules and regulations that govern the criteria for eligibility of services, as well as how orders must be written and by whom. This course will provide specific documentation guidelines for practitioners to follow as they receive and follow doctors’ orders for home health care. Disclosures: Jennifer W. Burks MSN, RN has no relevant financial or nonfinancial relationships to disclose.
