Regulatory Requirements for Home Health 

This course will present current regulatory requirements for direct care workers who work in home health. Your role is critical in making sure the rules and regulations set forth by agencies like Medicare and Medicaid are followed. In this course, you will learn about home health basics including homebound status, skilled services, the face-to-face encounter, and components of the plan of care, as well as effective documentation of services for compliance and care coordination. Failing to abide by the applicable rules and regulations means there will be no reimbursement for provided care.
