Instructor: Gerri Prince-Rivers, B.S.
Gerri Prince-Rivers is a passionately experienced health and wellness professional who has been in the field of healthcare (administration and direct patient care) since 1988, and health education since 2002. She initially focused her health education efforts on asthma and allergies, then expanded to include a full body wellness consideration. In 2012, she made the transition to focus on an overall holistic approach to health and wellness. Gerri has a B.S. in Health Care Management. She has been an Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant, Emergency Department Technician, ICU Tech, Certified Asthma Educator, Operations Director for an Asthma Education & Case Management Organization, Office Manager for a chiropractic office, and even a phlebotomist. However, she choses to use her knowledge base and experience to forward the practice of holistic health and wellness for all. Gerri always maintains an expanding knowledge base to remain current in relevant topics regarding holistic health and wellness. In 2014, Gerri trained in the study of over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. She graduated as a Certified Health Coach from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. As a Health Coach, Gerri supports her clients to discover their purpose, nurture a well-rounded life, make step-by-step changes to their food and lifestyle, and create a simple plan of action to live an authentic life so that they permanently reach their goals. She supports them in a way that’s enjoyable and easily integrated into their lives.
