Emotional intelligence (EQ) is the ability to understand, express, and regulate your own emotions, and your awareness of what the people around you are feeling. One of the hallmark skills of EQ is the ability keep your emotional brain and your thinking brain working together, even in intense or stressful situations. Why is this important? What can it do for you? This module will explain a little bit about how emotions work in the brain and how developing your EQ can improve your quality of life.
