Section B evaluates a resident’s ability hear, see, and interact with the environment and people around them, including making their needs or wishes known. An accurate assessment is essential to ensure that resident’s are not misdiagnosed with other conditions or problems. The goal is to be able to provide each resident with the appropriate care and support they need.
