Safe Food Handling Part I

The most important aspect about safe food handling is having knowledge of correct food safety practices because this knowledge can help you protect yourself and others. People who work with food have an important responsibility to do what is necessary to keep food safe for the people who will be eating it. This course emphasizes that by having good personal hygiene practices, by keeping food cooked and stored at safe temperatures, and through the prevention of cross-contamination, the spread of foodborne illness can be prevented.
