Concerns about the overuse and side effects of punishment led researchers to address the cause or “function” of behavior. This led to the development of practices associated with functional assessment. Functional assessment is a widely used approach for identifying variables that play a role in the display of certain behaviors. This course will identify some recent refinements of functional assessment and current research.
The goal of this course is to provide behavior analysts in practice with information on the advances in functional assessment technologies.
Participant complaints regarding this or any other BACB CE event requirements violations must first be directed, in writing, to the Relias Learning ACE Coordinator, Rhonda Davin, PhD.
