Identifying Risk and Responding to Suicide in Facilities: Refresher Course

Accreditation standards for adult prisons, jails, and community residential facilities require that staff receive preservice and annual in-service training about suicide. This course will provide refresher training on topics required by most facility suicide prevention programs for correctional staff, including:
- Recognizing risk factors for suicide
- Preventing suicide
- Responding to suicide
