Elizabeth Vaccaro earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Kean University. She is certified as a Multiple Sclerosis Nurse Educator. Dr. Rojas Joo has more than thirteen years’ experience of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism training programing, hiring, retention, and promotion of employees from diverse backgrounds, conflict resolution, and mentoring. He has worked as Chief Diversity Officer and Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion in higher-ed and, most recently as a DEI expert consultant on healthcare and corporate. Rojas Joo holds a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona in Hispanic Cultural Studies and a M.A. and B.A from the University of Texas in El Paso. Rojas Joo has certificates in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, intergroup dialogue, higher ed administration, and he is a published author and speaks, writes, and reads English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
