Note: This course discusses or references the home health OASIS data set. In this course, we will use the general term OASIS in reference to the current version, the OASIS-E. In addition, the language used by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) to describe pressure ulcers does not follow that of the current recommendations by the National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel, which uses the term pressure injury. For this course, the CMS terminology pressure ulcer/injury will be used.
