Effective project management is an essential skill for supervisors and managers so that organizational projects will be done effectively, efficiently, and with the highest level of quality. Without the necessary skills, projects can end up being a group of people working against each other and wasting valuable time. Through reviews, quizzes, and vignettes, you will apply the techniques of project delivery planning, as well as monitoring and evaluating the project so that all phases of a project are completed.

Nancy Engquist, LICSW, is a licensed, independent, clinical social worker currently serving in the capacity of Clinical Director at Community Alliance, a mental health rehabilitation agency providing psychosocial rehabilitation and treatment services to those with severe and persistent mental illness, in Omaha, Nebraska. She received her Master’s Degree from the University Of Kansas School Of Social Work in Lawrence, Kansas. Ms. Engquist provides clinical oversight in the agency, manages the training program, and oversees quality and performance improvement functions. She has also provided psychotherapy services to adults, children, adolescents, and families in an outpatient clinic setting, as well as provided oversight to the community support programs serving those with severe and persistent mental illness. Ms. Engquist also currently serves on the CIT (Crisis Intervention Training) Council, which develops and implements the CIT training to law enforcement and community corrections officers in Eastern Nebraska.
