Urinary tract infections, or UTIs, are serious because they can occur in anyone. However, they are mostly preventable. Some people you will be caring for, such as older adults, are more prone to them. So, you must take the needed actions to help reduce UTIs. This course will explain the risk factors for UTIs and how to prevent infections. You will also learn how to identify the presence of a UTI and how it is treated.
