Medical assistants (MAs) perform a variety of administrative and clinical duties under the supervision of a provider. This course is intended to provide MAs with education on order entry of laboratory tests, radiology exams, and medication orders, and the credentials required by the Medicaid Promoting Interoperability program.

The goal of this course is to provide medical assistants in the acute care setting with education about critical elements for computerized order entry.
