Creating a home environment for a patient with dementia that supports independence and mobility can facilitate aging in place. Rehabilitation therapy professionals can identify and make appropriate changes to an individual's home environment to support activity, safety, and comfort. Aisela Uli is a nationally board-certified Occupational Therapist licensed in the state of NY and NJ. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Psychology and soon after obtained her MS in Occupational Therapy from Mercy College.
