The foundation to working with pediatric patients is understanding typical developmental milestones. What activities should a child be able to do, when should they be able to do them, and how as a rehabilitation therapist should you assess these skills and abilities? In this course, rehabilitation professionals who are new to working in the pediatric setting will review the normal developmental milestones from two months to five years of age. Standardized and validated screening tools and assessment techniques will be discussed.
