Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) treat a variety of voice disorders in adults of all ages. SLPs have the knowledge and training to determine which evidence-based or best practice intervention is most appropriate to treat disorders due to structural, neurogenic, and functional impairments. This course presents best practices in voice disorder interventions. A series of case studies models how to determine the most appropriate intervention, how to assess progress, when and how to modify an intervention, and how to document to ensure reimbursement. This course will focus on intervention; other courses review best practices in evaluation.
