This course presents nursing considerations for the care of children who are receiving ventilatory support in the home. It includes indications and contraindications for providing ventilatory support and appropriate nursing care practices for children requiring ventilatory support. This course also looks into the complications of using mechanical ventilation in the home and how to help prevent them.
