This short skill refresher provides step-by-step instructions to teach a caregiver to assist a person in getting up after a fall. The course demonstrates how to teach the caregiver to determine if the person is safe to perform the steps needed to rise from the floor, how to get up using furniture to assist and how to get up if there is no furniture available.
