In this module, therapists will learn to differentiate OA affecting the upper extremity from similar musculoskeletal and autoimmune conditions. Using clinical examination findings, learners will apply evidence-based techniques to improve pain and function and support their clients in lifelong management. Expectations for outcomes and progress are presented, along with indications for when to refer for medical management.

Christopher Meketansky OTR/L graduated from Stony Brook University in 2017 with a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. He received training in manual therapy, specialized treatment for individuals with degenerative neurological disorders and post-stroke neurorehabilitation.
