Jig graduated from Touro College School of Health Sciences, NY with a Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2002. Since then, she has enjoyed working with the geriatric population in New Jersey and North Carolina in the in post-acute, long term care and outpatient settings. She finds reward in connecting with the patient to create function-based interventions that will allow them to return to their previous level of independence. She currently works in an outpatient clinic in an independent living facility. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University in Biology, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Florida A&M University. She has more than 25 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in multiple care settings, including acute care, inpatient rehab, independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and outpatient orthopedics. Wendy has a strong manual therapy background and has completed additional training in McConnell taping, geriatric care, McKenzie MDT, Maitland Mobilizations for the joints and spine. She is most passionate about using her manual skills to improve mobility and reduce pain in individuals of all ages.
